The transformation of 7 Old Park Lane comprised an extensive refurbishment and extension of an existing commercial property within Mayfair's distinguished district. The scheme deftly reimagined the 10+ storey structure, delivering a sophisticated contemporary workspace whilst honouring its architectural heritage.
Spanning 6,500 square metres GIA, the project embraced the challenge of evolving an established building into a highly responsive commercial environment. Our approach meticulously preserved core structural elements whilst introducing thoughtful interventions that enhanced spatial quality and natural illumination throughout. Environmental responsibility stood as a cornerstone of our design philosophy, with the project achieving BREEAM "Very Good" accreditation. This was realised through carefully considered thermal enhancements, state-of-the-art building services and refined operational systems. By prioritising refurbishment over new construction, we significantly reduced embodied carbon whilst extending the building's functional lifespan.
