Plans have been unanimously approved by Cambridge City Council for this new neighbourhood in the centre of Cambridge. Adapting a former industrial plot, the design will transform the three-acre site into a new neighbourhood comprising 120,000 sq ft of modern, wellbeing-focused workspace, 70 Build-to-Rent homes (20% of which are affordable) and community facilities, including a creche, pavilion and flexible studios.

In the centre of the scheme will be a new, landscaped public park - designed in collaboration with LDA Design – that will include over 120 trees, new plant species and a community food garden. Sustainability has been a significant part of the design approach and development ethos, with the development to be delivered in accordance with the One Planet Living principles. The scheme will increase biodiversity on the site by a 357% net gain, achieved by a productive and varied landscape that includes bat, birds, bee boxes and acknowledges existing wildlife corridors.
